The Federation of Palestinian leather industries (PFLI) was established in 1996 and represents leather tanning factories, leather products workshops (leather handicrafts) and shoe factories. The number of industrial enterprises registered as members of the Federation of leather industries is 246 small and medium-sized industrial enterprises, while the number of companies operating in this industry is 300 industrial enterprises. The Union works to enhance the competitiveness of its members and improve access to regional and global markets.
